The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser and your financial inputs never leave your device. Inputs are remembered in local browser storage so you can continue later. The site uses Google Analytics to understand which tools help people, but never sees what you type into a calculator.
Your calculator inputs stay on this device
Income, commitments, property prices, loan amounts — everything you type into a hutang.me calculator is processed by JavaScript running in your own browser. None of it is transmitted to hutang.me or shared with anyone.
The calculator remembers inputs in your browser’s local storage so they are still available when you return. This storage stays on the device and browser profile you used. Press Reset in a calculator or clear the site’s browser data to remove it.
How to verify the privacy claim
Open your browser DevTools, go to the Network tab, then type values into a calculator. The result updates locally; you should not see a new network request when only the calculation changes.
Page-load requests for HTML, JavaScript, images, and fonts are normal. The privacy claim is about your financial inputs: income, commitments, property price, loan amount, and similar values.
What the site does collect
There are no accounts and no sign-up forms. The site uses Google Analytics 4 (described below) to measure aggregate, anonymised traffic — which pages are visited, roughly from where, and on what device — never your calculator inputs.
Like virtually every website, the hosting infrastructure (Amazon CloudFront) keeps standard access logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — used only for security and to keep the site running. These logs are not used to identify or profile visitors.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message, used only to reply.
Cookies
hutang.me sets Google Analytics cookies (for example _ga and _ga_*) to measure aggregate traffic. They do not identify you personally and are not used for advertising. If advertising cookies are added later (see below), this policy will be updated first and a notice shown where required.
Analytics and advertising
To understand which tools help people, the site uses Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js). Google processes this data on hutang.me’s behalf; IP addresses are anonymised by GA4, and the data is aggregate — it is not used to identify individuals or linked to your calculator inputs. You can opt out site-wide with Google’s browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Advertising via Google AdSense is not enabled yet. If it is added, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads, including ads based on prior visits to this or other websites, and you can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). This page will be updated with the specific services and an effective date before advertising goes live.
Your data is never sold
hutang.me does not sell, rent, or trade any visitor information. There is nothing to sell — the site is designed so that your financial data never reaches us in the first place.
